I wanted to create an envelope for each book to go when I give the books to my contributors of the publication. Unfortunately I ran out of time and I was sick in the last week so I wasn’t able to finish the envelopes for my final hand in but they are still planned for the exhibition.
I choose to do black card with black ink to match the cover of the book. The envelope design opens up and has text as well on the inside. It also lays flat when you open the entire envelope up as it has no glue. I am going to open up a few and have some folded and for my exhibition display.
I had a few troubles finding something that could print on A2 card but I have been told I can achieve the same effect (black on black) with the foiling machine in the bidding studio.
